HUIXCOLOTLA COLLECTION
For this collection we used as source of inspiration the tradition of punched paper, an ornamental element, originated in the 16th Century connected to commercial exchange between Asia, America and Europe through the Manila Galleon. The selection of the materials is aimed to create a functional object that will make people fall in love through the eyes and by the touch.

AD HOC + WENZ · SIN TÍTULO
The collection puts together two materials of very different nature –terrazzo and ceramic enamel steel– that shared a common meeting point in history. Both materials, with far away origins, had great popularity in mid-Twentieth Century Latin-America thanks to their durability and low cost, deeply rooting in middle-class popular aesthetic.

ANTELMO COLLECTION
In collaboration with Antelmo González, artisan from the town of Santa María Rayón, Estado de Mexico, we developed this collection, in which the traditional wooden chocolate whisker becomes part of furniture pieces, such as tables, stools and lamps, in a surprising and subtle way. Using new materials and in combination with a contemporary color palette, we attempted to renovate, revitalize and honor traditional manual activities in our country.
